ZIP-LOCK STORAGE BAGS I was in a neighbors house and saw her wash out 6 bags and hang to dry.?

Do any of you save these bags?
I can't think of a better way to have cross-contamination of germs or salmonela and the like.

I prefer to limit my use of ziplock type bags to washing and reusing them to store food. I have glass, ceramic, metal, and some plastic storage containers that will withstand being washed in very hot water (like in my dishwasher on the sanitation cycle). I think it is far better and less expensive to use fewer ziplocks in the first place than it is to wash and reuse them.

I do reuse ziplocks in some instances. For example; I use a quart-sized ziplock bag to hold my '3 oz bottles of liquid toiletries and medications' to carry onto commercial airplanes. I reuse the same ziplock until it is tattered. I also use ziplocks in some of my work kits, to neatly store supplies; and these I also reuse until they are tattered.

Folks who reuse ziplocks for storing food should remember that water hot enough to safely clean them may cause them to break down; and that bleach can chemically react with the plastic which may not be a good thing. These bags are not made to be safely cleaned.

How can I use curtains to cover my entire wall?

I want it to be tasteful, inexpensive, and also serve as a way to put unsightly file cabinets and stacked storage bins against the wall and cover them up. But I know fabric is expensive. I'm not big on sewing, and I'm a dunce at curtain hardware. Can someone do it for me please? Just kidding. So has anyone done this or anything similar? Any advice?
