Huggable Hanger
are wire hangers bad for your clothes...why? also, which is best hanger..huggable, etc?

Wire hangers can mess up some types of clothes. If you put any clothes on a wire hanger and they are damp, it can rust the hanger and transfer the rust to your clothes. Sweaters are really pliable and heavy so when hung on wire they get bumps in the sweater where the hanger was. They eventually fall out but they look bad until they do. Plastic hangers are good to me because they do not transfer rust and they are smooth so clothes do not "stick" to them. The huggable hangers are good too. But they have a covering on them that "stick" to the clothes so it is a little harder to get the clothes off. This works well for small things like spaghetti straps because they do not slip off. The best feature about the huggable type is the cascading hooks. These are great. It allows you to hang one hanger onto another onto another. This is really the best for making more room in a closet.
