Are there any carrots that you can keep in the freezer to preserve freshness?

I love using baby carrots when I make beef stew, but the ones in the plastic bags don't keep fresh for very long in the refrigerator. I plan to make beef stew for my son when he comes home in a few weeks, and I wanted to have everything ready to cook.

I came back from a business trip last week and found a used condom under the back seat of my SUV. I thought my wife was up to some shenanigans and I yelled at her for it.
