As a gay hockey fan, is it high time I came out of the closet?

Well, not about being gay as many people already know I am gay. I am speaking about coming out with the fact that I can freely admit the Toronto Maple Leafs professional NHL hockey team will never win a championship in my lifetime, even if I live to be 100 years of age. Heck, we should all be able to come out about this as it has been 41 years without a Stanley cup championship. If we come out of the closet, we can admit the obvious and stop living in denial. The team must be blown up and rebuilt ... and to make matters worse, our number one choice to lead it has just announced an extension with Anaheim. So once again... we lost out.

I am proud of being a gay man, but I am not proud of my Leafs. So my question is: Am I alone, or do any other men feel as I do?
