What should I do with my friends belongings that i am storing in my basement??

she asked me if she could store her stuff for a few months...and now it has been 2 years. i am in the middle of cleaning up the basement and trying to make it nice, but her stuff is in my storage space. It is not just a few things. it is like 15 boxes, 10big garbage bags, and like 20 boxes of shoes,plus a stereo, and a tv and a microwave. I told her several times now that she needs to get it out, and she has said ok, but never does anything about it . She is in Florida, and I am in Michigan. She has no friends or family that I can dump the stuff off at either. Please HELP!!
Oh yeah, she dosent have a phone and she just lives with a bunch of migrant workers and moves around all the time. I can only talk to her when she calls me, like once every 6 months!
no email, no family, no nothin'!!

Like the 30 day notice idea but since she is hard to reach I would advise giving the bulk (save truly personal momentos such as pictures, etc) to charity and would then save a tax receipt (with listed donations). Store that with the few items you have deemed to hold for her. She may settle down one day and appreciate this.

Help with my goldfish!?

Last night my sister went to a carnival and won a goldfish. She came into my room at 3 in the morning and said do i want it. I said no and fell back asleep. She just left the goldfish in the ziplock on her shelve!! I feel so bad! I used to have a betta fish so i filled up the fish bowl and set it to room temperature and then i placed the zip lock with the fish into the water. So he can adjust. He isn't totally free in the bowl yet,I had some left over betta fish food so i fed him that. Am i allowed to open the zip lock? or could he die? PLEASE HELP!

Definately open the bag; goldfish need air to breathe as well. They breathe off of the oxygen in the water, and they'll breathe out carbon dioxide as well. If he doesn't have oxygen, he won't survive. Also, the rule of thumb is 2 inches per gallon of water, and goldfish should typically have at least a ten gallon tank. Most common goldfish get about 6 inches long, and they need to have enough room to swim freely. Any smaller of a tank, and they will become stressed and get sick, or die. If he is a feeder fish, which is a comet goldfish, those will get a foot or two long, so keep that in mind.
Another thing, goldfish need filters because they will poop more than they eat, and make your tank very dirty. Your betta bowl will not be efficient space for him in the least. And as for the betta food, that contains spirulina and blood worms and things like that. Goldfish don't eat the same food as bettas. Bettas need the spirulina to grow and maintain their health. Goldfish need goldfish flake or pellets, which contain the ingredients they need, which is why fish food is categorized into cichlid pellets, goldfish flake, tropical flake, algae wafers etc. Not all fish eat the same food because they have different needs.
Some pet stores give money for him or even store credit, so if you don't have the space for him, I suggest you give him up so he can go into a proper home.
